At Ladybird Nursery, we’re passionate about providing a safe, loving, and inspiring environment for up to 49 children, from as young as 3 months up to school age (around 5 years old). We believe that every child is unique and deserves to feel valued, supported, and encouraged as they take their first steps into the world.

We’ve created age-appropriate spaces to suit every stage of your child’s early development. Each room is thoughtfully designed to promote exploration, imagination, and confidence.
Our cosy and calming baby and toddler room is designed for our youngest learners. With soft spaces, sensory play, and lots of cuddles, we help little ones settle in and feel secure. Key carers build strong, loving bonds with each child, following home routines as closely as possible for a smooth transition into nursery life.
As your child becomes more curious and independent, our 2–3’s room encourages exploration, communication, and social interaction. With a balance of structured activities and free play, we support development through music, messy play, storytelling, and more.
Our pre-school room is full of opportunities for learning, problem-solving, and creativity. With a strong focus on school readiness, we help children develop important early literacy and numeracy skills through fun and engaging activities. We also place a big emphasis on emotional wellbeing, helping children feel confident and prepared for the next step in their journey.
We know how important good nutrition is for growing bodies and minds. That’s why all our meals, snacks, and drinks are freshly prepared on-site every day by our talented nursery cook.
Our menu is carefully planned to be well-balanced, healthy, and delicious – and we’re always happy to cater to special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-specific needs. Mealtimes are a relaxed, social part of the day where children are encouraged to try new foods and develop independence.
