Busy Lizzies children have the opportunity to engage in lots of play and various activities and challenges that will encourage their learning and development in all areas, infused with adult-led activities that are based around the children interests. Freely exploring their environment and taking part in a variety of activities such as role play, construction, sand and water play, arts and crafts.
The team in Busy Lizzies encourages each child’s social interactions, individual self-belief and promotes independence and confidence to give every child the opportunity to be the best that they can be!
Our children have regular, daily access to Busy Lizzies garden enabling us to provide a continuation of our indoor environment outside. Den making, extended imaginative role play, large scale construction and much more.
Meal times are a social occasion where our children come together to eat, providing a fantastic opportunity to develop social skills and independence is encouraged, cutting up their food and tidying away their plates and cutlery.
The children in Busy Lizzies have the opportunity during the academic year before starting school to take part in Forest School with Lee from Surrey hills forest schools. To find out more about Forest school please visit https://surreyhillsforestschool.co.uk/
The next big step…..school. We offer support to all our families preparing for the transition to school. We understand this journey comes with a range of emotions for both the parent/carer and child so we ensure a member of the team is always available to help.
