Our Bluebells room ranges from around two years to three years (approximate age range based on individual children). Our children continue develop and thrive through play, exploration and captivation of exciting opportunities based around the children’s interests. The environment is set out so we can really enable all of our toddlers to engage in free play, as well as scaffolding their individual learning through meaningful interactions with their peers and our wonderful team.
Meal times are a social occasion where Bluebells children come together to eat, providing a fantastic opportunity to develop social skills and try new, delicious food tastes. The Bluebell team eat with the children and are on hand to assist children who may need help as well as encouraging them to be independent within a relaxed, supportive environment. Our morning and afternoon snacks are flexible and set up on a small table giving children the opportunity to have snack when ready, so we do not interrupt their play.
Bluebells have regular, daily access to their own outside garden space enabling us to provide a continuation of our indoor environment outside. Our Bluebells garden is stimulating and exciting; it enables our children take safe risks when climbing and balancing on equipment.
Our Children continue to take part in Molly Moo Cow sessions when Molly and Kate come to visit Bluebells twice a week too. To find out more about Molly Moo Cow please visit http://www.mollymoocow.
Bluebells shares a bathroom with Busy Lizzies which is well equipped for the different stages of the children’s toilet training, including nappy changing facilities. We are here to support families through potty training and can implement strategies with the aim to make this a smooth process.
Nearly ready for our pre-school room? We support all children with their transitions into each room and the team in Bluebells will offer support during the transition to Busy Lizzies.
